She holds a degree in Chemical Industrial Engineering from the School of Engineering in Lorena - USP (2007) and a direct doctorate in Industrial Biotechnology from the School of Engineering in Lorena - USP (2012). She is Associate Professor I at the Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL-MG). She was the coordinator of the undergraduate course in Chemical Engineering and is currently in her second term as coordinator of the Graduate Program in Chemical Engineering at the same institution. She teaches disciplines in undergraduate courses in the Bachelor of Science and Technology and Chemical Engineering courses and in the post-graduate courses in Chemical Engineering on the Poços de Caldas campus. She has experience in the area of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, acting mainly on the following themes: production and immobilization of enzymes and microbial whole cells, preparation and characterization of supports for enzymatic immobilization, production of biodiesel using batch and continuous reactors, enzymatic processes of modification oils and fats, biosorption processes and effluent treatment.
