Graduated from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of São Paulo State University - UNESP in 2006. Has experience in Chemistry, focusing on Natural Product Chemistry (isolation, structure elucidation and bioactivity). Developed his PhD (2012) research, in the Institute of Chemistry (IQ) at UNESP, under the supervision of Prof. Maysa Furlan. During 2009-2010 was appointed visiting research scholar in the Department of Chemistry at Syracuse University/BioTools, Inc., NY/FL USA, under the supervision of Prof. Laurence A. Nafie, working on the application of vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) to determine the absolute configuration of natural benzopyrans. Developed postdoc research at IQ-UNESP/Araraquara (2012-2015), under the supervision of Prof. Vanderlan Bolzani. During 2012-2013 was appointed visiting scientist in the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology at the University of Manchester, under the supervision of Dr Ewan Blanch, working with Rman Optical Activity (ROA) for configurational studies of natural products. Held an early-career investigator position funded by FAPESP in the Department of Chemistry at Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar (2015-2018). Currently works as an assistant professor of chemistry at Federal University of São Paulo - UNIFESP, in Sao Jose dos Campos, SP, Brazil, where leads a research group focused on vibrational optical activity (VOA).
