Bachelor (2005) and PhD (2010) in Engineering at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Work as an associate professor at the Federal University of São Paulo since 2010 and researches innovative methods and tools for engineering education focusing on the development of hard and soft skills essential for professional training and personal life. Her research is based on the use of educational technologies and on the development of new teaching-learning methodologies and new assessment path to foster a more student-centered and individualized teaching. Currently, she is the coordinator of the Structuring Teaching Nucleus for Materials Engineering at Unifesp and has been working to reformulate the course to implement the new national engineering curricular guidelines and the inclusion of extension activities the curriculum. Moreover, she works with extension actions to publicize the importance and ways for self-development of soft skills of young people aged from 15 to 30 years old. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
