Received a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from the Instituto de Ciências Matemáticas de de Computação of the Universidade de São Paulo (ICMC/USP) in 2005. Received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science also from ICMC/USP in 2010. He has been a Ph.D visiting student at Lancaster University/UK. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar - Brazil), and has been a Pos-Doctoral visitor of Prof. Jeff Offutt at George Mason University (USA). His research interests are: software engineering, software testing, object-oriented programming, aspect-oriented programming, mutation testing, adaptive systems, systematic literature reviews, knowledge management, and gamification of Software Engineering.
