Associate Professor in Ecosystem Ecology at the Faculty of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences of Jaboticabal (UNESP-FCAV); PhD in Ecology from the University of Brasília (UnB) (with a sandwich period at the Museo de Ciências Naturales (Madrid - Spain), Master in Botany from the University of Brasília (UnB) and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the State University of São Paulo Julio de Mesquita Filho - Unesp Campus of Assis-SP. He carried out a Post-Doctorate in Plant Ecophysiology. Actually working as Associate Professor (MS.-5.3) at the Department of Biology at UNESP Campus de Jaboticabal, where he teaches ecology for Biology course. Works with plant ecophysiology and ecology of tropical savanna and forest ecosystems. Associated at the the Graduate Programs in Ecology, Evolution and Biodiversity (UNESP Rio Claro campus) and Plant Biology at UNESP . Obtained financial support from CNPq, BIOTA FAPESP and NSF / USA. had a CNPq productivity fellow 2 for 6 years (2016 to 2022), and currently is a CNPq 1D productivity fellow in the area of Plant Ecophysiology. He has a wide range of activities as a reviewer and editor for international scientific journals, reviewed more than 200 papers in botany and ecology journals. At the present moment is editor for Flora and Theoretical and Experimental Plant Physiology journals. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
