Graduated in Physics at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1999), Ph.D. in Theoretical Physic from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2004), and posdoc at the Mathematical Physics Department in University of São Paulo (USP). Visiting professor in the math department of Universidade Federal do ABC in 2008, and at the Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, USA, during the year 2018. Currently, an Associate Professor at Universidade Federal do ABC, in Santo André, SP, Brazil. Working mainly in theoretial aspects of quantum field theory and gravity: Lorentz symmetry violations, supersymmetry, effective potential and dynamical symmetry breaking, spacetime noncommutativity. I am also interested in general topics like: quantum gravity, mathematical physics, and computational physics. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
