He is currently an Associate Researcher at the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University, in the group of Prof. Efthimios Kaxiras. Graduated (2007), master's (2010) and doctorate (2015) in Physics from the Institute of Physics of São Carlos - University of São Paulo and post-doctorates from the Institute of Physics Gleb Wataghin - Unicamp and Harvard University. He has expertise in the area of #8203;#8203;Computational Materials Science, including experience in electronic structure, vibrational structure and electron-phonon coupling through quantum chemistry methods, mainly Density Functional Theory (DFT). He works mainly in programming computer codes for quantum simulations of the physical and chemical properties of functional materials, including two-dimensional materials (2D) and moiré systems, for various applications, such as renewable energy (thermoelectric materials) and information storage (2D nanotransistors). Also has experience on Artificial Inteligence, mainly machine (deep) learning methods and their application in Materials Science and Engineering. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
