Graduated in Agronomy at Federal University of Santa Maria (2001), Master of Soil Science at Federal University of Santa Maria (2004) and Ph.D. in Agronomy/Agriculture at State University of São Paulo - UNESP, Botucatu - SP, with emphasis on soil chemistry and soil fertility (2007). Currently he is associate professor at the School of Agriculture Luiz de Queiroz - ESALQ - USP, Piracicaba - SP (since 2012). The area of ​​expertise in teaching and research is Soil Fertility and Fertilizers use, working mainly in fertilizer management in crops succession.
