Has research experience in Physics, focusing on Nuclear Physics, acting on the following subjects: Nuclear Reaction Theory with Application to Stable Nuclei and Neutron and/ot Proton-Rich Nuclei (Exotic Nuclei), Bose-Einstein Condensation Theory, Nuclear Astrophysics, Quantum Chaos and its Application in Mesoscopic Systems. Currently he is a Senior Professor and Coordenator of the Non-conventional Nuclear Astrophysics Group at the Institute for Advanced Studies of the University of Sao Paulo.
