Sarah Siqueira de Oliveira

I am a biologist, professor and researcher, a lover of insects, mosquitoes, and other animals. I have a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo (USP), Bachelor (2006) and Licentiate (2007). I am also a Master (2009) and PhD in Science (2013) from the University of São Paulo (Area: Entomology). I did a postdoctoral degree at FFCLRP - USP, part of which was held at the Natural History Museum (NHM), London (2013-2014), during which time I also worked as a professor at Faculdade São Luís - Jaboticabal. I am currently an Adjunct Professor II at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), Department of Ecology, in the area of #8203;#8203;Animal Biodiversity. In graduation I am responsible for different disciplines in the areas of Zoology, Systematics and Biogeography, while in Graduate Studies I work in the Graduate Program in Animal Biodiversity (PPGBAN-UFG), of which I am also deputy coordinator. I am in the area of #8203;#8203;Zoology, with an emphasis on Taxonomy of Recent Groups, mainly on the following topics: entomology, taxonomy, phylogenetic systematics, biogeography, evolution, experience curation, education, and science teaching.
