He holds a B.Sc. in Technological Chemistry (2005), an M.Sc. in Materials Science (2007), and a Ph.D. in Chemistry (2011) from São Paulo State University (UNESP). He is currently a Professor at UNESP (Rosana Campus) and a permanent faculty member in the Graduate Programs in Industrial Process Engineering (UNESP/Tupã) and Materials Science and Technology (POSMAT - UNESP/Bauru). With expertise in Electrochemistry, Materials Chemistry, and Analytical Chemistry, his research focuses on the development and characterization of novel materials and devices for the Energy and Bioenergy sectors, guided by Circular Economy principles. His work highlights the use of biomass-derived carbonaceous materials for the fabrication of electrochemical sensors, supercapacitors, hybrid generation systems, and green hydrogen storage. Additionally, he specializes in the development of composite electrodes for oxidation studies and the application of electroanalytical methods for the determination of compounds of analytical interest.
