Fabio Bertequini Leao received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from UNESP/Ilha Solteira SP Brazil, in 2006. Currently he is working towards a D.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering close to the Group of Research in Planning of Electrical Power Systems (LaPSEE) in UNESP. He worked at the University of Alberta, Canada, for 6 months (July 2009 to January 2010)as a Ph.D visiting student. His research work at University of Alberta dealt with distribution system automation, protection and distributed generation. His research areas are reliability, protection, automation, fault diagnosis and artificial intelligence techniques applications to electrical power systems. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
