Birthplace: Brazil

Postgraduate degree in Biomedicine from the University State of Londrina (2004), PhD in Immunology from the University of São Paulo (2011) and Post-doctorate in Immunology from the University of São Paulo (2012-2016). Post-doctorate at the Center of Excellence in Metabolomics and Bioanalysis (CEMBIO- USP - Madrid, Spain). She currently works as a Laboratory Specialist and researcher in the Department of Immunology at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo. I have experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Immunology and molecular biology, with an emphasis on cellular immunology and infectious diseases (leishmaniasis and malaria). I work as coordinator of FAPESP and CNPq research and extension projects (Biotreco - BiocientistaMirim - USP). My line of research aims to study how non-coding RNAs, microRNAs and long non-coding RNAs act in the regulation of gene expression during the pathogen-host interaction. We explored the role of these molecules in the transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation of genes involved in macrophage activation during. infection with Leishmania.
