- Research Grants
I obtained my PhD in Physics from the University of São Paulo, in Brazil, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the State University of São Paulo, in Brazil, and as a visiting researcher at the University of York, in the UK. During my PhD I studied vacuum effects caused by intense classical gravitational fields, and some of the results were highlighted by, e.g., the Physical Review journals. I am working as a postoctoral researcher at Federal University of ABC, in Brazil, since July 2016. My main research area is in the interface between general relativity and quantum field theory. The aim of this research project is to seek for new physical phenomena in the interface between General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics in light of Quantum Information Theory. During the project we will be interested in problems related to coherence and decoherence, entanglement and information in physical systems under the influence of space-times with non-trivial causal structures, l...
