DDS from FORP-USP (1998), post-graduate, master's, doctorate, and post-doctorate in Pediatric Dentistry from FOP-UNICAMP (2004-2010; 2013-2015). She has international experience as a visiting fellow at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA (2002); in the clinical research training program (Summer Institute) at the University of Washington, Seattle, USA (2011); and as a Researcher fellow at the National Institutes of Health, NIH, Bethesda, USA (2011-2013). A dentist with over 20 years of clinical experience working in private and public settings (Santa Bárbara DOeste City Hall). She is currently a clinical assistant professor at University of Maryland, Dental School, Division of General Practice, Department of Comprehensive Dentistry and professor at São Leopoldo Mandic , where teaches post-graduate courses and coordinates the master's program in Integrated Dental Clinic. A passionate advocate for dental treatment for underserved communities, she has led and participated in programs throughout Brazil, including indigenous populations in the Amazon Rainforest.
