Postdoctoral research at the University of Queensland, Australia (1999). Directed the Applied Methodology and Statistics Unit from 2001 to 2019. Currently an associate professor at the Federal University of São Paulo. Has experience in the field of Public Health, with emphasis on the following topics: mental health, health services, service evaluation, population surveys, and mental disorders.
