Graduated in Biological Sciences - Bachelor Degree from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP), Botucatu (2002), MSc (2007) and Ph.D. (2012) in Sciences (concentration area Biology/Genetics) by the Department of Genetics and Evolutionary Biology, Institute of Biosciences, University of São Paulo (USP). Currently is Associate Professor A (Class C, Level 2), of Archaeology and Anthropology, at Institute of Humanities and Information (ICHI), Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG). Has experience in the areas of Anthropology, with an emphasis in Biological Anthropology and Archaeology, and Evolutionary Biology, acting on the following topics: cranial morphology, evolutionary processes, first americans, peopling of the New World and microevolution and human evolution.
