Pedro Rosalen earned his Pharmacy degree from the University of São Paulo (USP) in 1981 and a degree in Biochemistry in 1982. He completed his Ph.D. in Pharmacology at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in 1991. He attained tenure as an Associate Professor in 1999 and has been a Full Professor of Pharmacology since 2003 (UNICAMP). As a National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) Productivity Researcher since 1992, his research spans Pharmacology, Phytochemistry, Ethics, and Good Research Practices, focusing on bioprospecting natural products to address biofilm-dependent diseases and inflammatory processes.
