Graduated in Biochemical Pharmacy from Universidade Paulista (2002), achieved a masters degree in microbiology from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2008), and earned a doctorate in Health Sciences from Faculdade de Medicina de São José do Rio Preto (2013), all in a quest to save the world from viruses in pursuit of an antiviral solution. Undertook post-doctoral research at Universidade Federal do Pernambuco and at the biotechnology company DNApta, driven by the relentless pursuit of saving the world. Currently serving as a professor in the Graduate Program in Microbiology at Unesp São José do Rio Preto, conducting another postdoctoral study at the René Rachou Institute - Ficoruz Minas (focusing on antivirals). Also working as a reviewer for national and international scientific journals, including Viruses, Pathogens, Antibodies, and TropicalMed. Additionally, actively engaged in science communication!
