Graduated in Pharmacy UNESP ( University of Sao Paulo State), Masters in Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto-USP University of Sao Paulo and a PhD (Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at USP ?SP). She is currently Associate Professor, Medicinal Chemistry in the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, UNESP, Araraquara. She has experience in design and synthesis of drugs and prodrugs (antimicrobial anti-inflammatory , neglected diseases, especially Chagas Disease , leprosy, schistosomiasis, malaria, tuberculosis and sickle cell anemia). She is coordinator of Lapdesf - Laboratory of Drug Design FCF / UNESP. Participates in Project Network Nanobiotec 2008 and she has research projects in cooperation Pharmaceutical Industry / University since 2003, designing new drugs with patent award in U.S. A ,EC and China. She has participate as invited speaker in several internacional and national conferences (India, Greece, Russia, Egypt), whose contacts generated partnership in research and exchange graduate students with the University of Freiburg (Germany), Vrijet Universitet - Brussels (Belgium ), Universidad de la República - Montevideo (Uruguay) and Universidad Nacional de Salta (Argentina). She is adviser (masters and doctorate) in the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences FCF-UNESP. She is president of the Pharmaceutical Association of Araraquara (AFAR) and coordinator and lecturer of the course "Pharmacotherapy and Drug Interactions" for professional updating by AFAR since 1999 is invited professor of the specialization course in ?Pharmaceutical Care? at the Federal University of Alfenas since 2005.
