Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Química (IQ)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in Bachelor of Chemistry with emphasis on technological assignments from USP, since Dec / 2014. She started her Direct Doctorate in 2020 at USP's Institute of Chemistry (IQ), at the Biopolymers Laboratory, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Luiz Henrique Catalani. Main interests: Biopolymers, hydrogels, polymeric synthesis, polymers, nanomaterials, materials science, 3D printing, surfaces and colloids. From 2012 to the present, she has worked in the area of research and development with national and international experience. From 2012 to 2015 she worked in the academic area on projects financed by Fapesp (FAPESP 2013 / 03480-3), under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Denise S.F. Petri. Project developed: Stabilization of oil-in-water emulsions by cellulose nanocrystals, ultrasound and polycations. This project was started and developed at USP (IQ) and also in the USA, at NCSU (North Carolina State University), through the USP academic merit internationalization program, under the guidance of Prof °. Dr Orlando Rojas. This work was published in the journal Cellulose in 2016 (DOI 10.1007s10570-016-0965-3). From September / 2015 to Feb / 2020 she worked developing new products in the area of Research, Development and innovation in private national and multinational companies. Multinational Company Suzano Papel e Celulose (2015 to 2017): it actively participated in the startup of the production Fluff (national innovation, and the first new product using short fiber) from Suzano Papel e Celulose. In 2016 she was awarded the Trainee Challenge award for the good development of the project to obtain an EUCAFLUFF Premium through the use of Debonders and development of methods for the evaluation of Fluff's performance. Other projects carried out: Semi-bleached fluff and market potential; Influence of residual hemicellulose on the quality of cellulose and fluff. Multinational Company Sika SA (2017 to 2019): Assumed the position of R&D Chemist to work at the technological center Sika SA Brazil. Made a technical transition from natural polymers (Suzano) from the cellulose branch to synthetic polymers in the waterproofing branch (Sika). Worked on formulations cost reduction projects and waterproofing innovation projects, in partnership with the Sika Switzerland matrix. Empresa Nacional Luksnova SA. from the Lukscolor group (2019 to 2020): He assumed the position of Technical Development Specialist to lead projects in the area of R&D Specialties of the company Luksnova. Main Project developed: Formulation of waterproofing for paper substrate, and approval for direct contact with food through tests carried out at ITAL-CETEA (Packaging Technology Center) following DRC guidelines. Whenever possible, he participated in courses, workshops and congresses, such as: Participation in Abrafati 2019; ITAL-CETEA course in 2019 Anvisa regulations on food packaging and cellulosic materials; Participation in ABFLE.
