Holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of São Carlos (2010). Was a postdoctoral fellow funded by FAPESP, having conducted a BEPE at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Barcelona, Spain. Has experience in the field of Cellular Biology with an emphasis on Molecular Biology, focusing mainly on the following topics: breast cancer, mammalian cell culture, and three-dimensional cell culture in a laminin-rich extracellular matrix, extracellular matrix, stroma, cell migration, cell invasion, cell adhesion, and apoptosis.
