Has an undergraduate degree (2013) and a teaching degree (2015) in Biological sciences from the University of Sao Paulo (USP). Has a Masters of Science degree in genetics and evolution from the Institute of Biosciences from the same university. Her masters was obtained under the orientation of Dr. Maria Vibranovski. Currently does her PhD studies at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST Austria) under the orientation of Dr. Beatriz Vicoso.
