Virologist and Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto (FCFRP/USP) under a Full-Time Dedication to Teaching and Research (RDIDP) regime. From 2022 to 2023, served as a CAPES postdoctoral fellow, conducting studies on the pathogenesis of SARS-CoV-2 infection using in vivo and in vitro models. From 2021 to 2023, held the position of Adjunct Professor III (PhD) in the Department of Clinical, Toxicological, and Bromatological Analyses at FCFRP-USP. Completed a postdoctoral fellowship (2018-2021) funded by FAPESP at FMRP-USP, and between 2021 and 2022, was a CNPq postdoctoral fellow in the Technological and Industrial Development modality. Holds a PhD in Sciences from the Cellular and Molecular Biology Program of the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto (FMRP/USP) (2017), a Masters degree in Sciences from the Infectious Diseases Program of the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES) (2012), and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from UFES (2009).
