Bachelor's and Licentiate's degrees in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2008). Master's (2010) and Doctorate (2013) in Sciences from the University of São Paulo (USP), with a sandwich period at the University of Kiel, Germany, in the areas of Entomology, Functional Morphology, Biomimetics and Biomechanics. Post-doctorate at UNESP (2013-2014) in Zoology and Evolution. He was a Professor at the Federal University of Grande Dourados - UFGD (2014-2015), and at the Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar (2015-2021). He is currently a Professor at the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro - UFTM. Vice-president (2016-2021) and president (2021-present) of the Latin American Society of Odonatology (SOL). Editor of the scientific journals Zoology (Jena), Animal Biodiversity and Conservation, IJO, Odonatologica, Frontiers in Ethology, and Beilstein Journal of Nanotechnology. Supervisor of graduate programs in the areas of Zoology, Environmental Sciences, and Tropical Medicine. Has experience in Zoology and Ecology, working in the following areas: entomology, animal behavior, taxonomy, conservation, functional morphology, and nanotechnology.
