Rouverson Pereira da Silva is Agricultural Engineer from the Universidade Federal de Lavras (1990) , Master in Mechanical Engineering (Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, 1995) and Ph.D. in Agronomy (Crop Production) from the Univ Estadua Paulista (2002) . He is currently Adjunct Professor III of UNESP / Jaboticabal and Research Productivity Scholar (1-C) of CNPq. He also holds the position of Executive Director of the Latin American and Caribbean Association of Agricultural Engineering and Director of International Relations of the Brazilian Association of Agricultural Engineers. He has published 269 papers in scientific journals, 11 books and 38 book chapters, more than 550 communications in conference proceedings and technical journals, in addition to having participated in several scientific events in Brazil and abroad. He supervised 21 doctoral theses, 31 master's dissertations and 160 scientific initiation and course completion work in the areas of Agricultural Engineering and Agronomy. He is an Ad hoc consultant in several scientific journals and works in the field of Agricultural Engineering (Agricultural Machinery and Mechanization and Digital and Precision Agriculture), developing research focused on the following topics: Mechanized Harvest Systems (coffee, sugarcane, peanuts and cereals ), Digital Agriculture, Precision Agriculture and Quality Control in Mechanized Agricultural Operations. He is one of the pioneers in research on peanut harvesting in Brazil.Also holds the position of General Treasurer of the Brazilian Association of Agricultural Engineering (SBEA) and is a member of the Brazilian Committee of Precision Agriculture and Evaluation Committee of the Award Tractor of the Year. Published more than 100 articles in scientific journals, more than 400 communications in conference proceedings and articles in technical journals, and has participated in numerous scientific events in Brazil and abroad. He directed nine doctoral theses, 14 dissertations and over 100 undergraduate scientific research work in the areas of Agricultural Engineering and Agronomy. Is a Ad hoc consultant in various scientific journals and works in the field of Agricultural Engineering ( Agricultural Mechanization and Machinery and Precision Agriculture) , focusing on the following themes: Mechanized Harvesting Systems (sugarcane, peanuts, coffee and cereals) and Quality Control in Agricultural Mechanized Operations.
