Rouverson Pereira da Silva holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Lavras (1990), a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (1995), a Ph.D. in Agronomy (Crop Production) from UNESP (2002), and a Livre-Docência in Agricultural Machinery and Mechanization from UNESP (2010). In 2017, he completed a senior internship at the University of Georgia (USA), funded by CAPES.Currently, he is an Associate Professor III at UNESP/Jaboticabal and a CNPq Research Productivity Fellow (Level 1-C). Additionally, he serves as the Latin America and Caribbean Representative for the International Society of Precision Agriculture (ISPA), Executive Director of the Latin American and Caribbean Association of Agricultural Engineering, and Director of International Relations for the Brazilian Association of Agricultural Engineers.He is a member of key committees, including the Brazilian Commission on Precision and Digital Agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Supply, the Evaluation Committee for the Tractor and Machine of the Year Awards/Brazil, and the Fiscal Council of the Brazilian Association of Agricultural Engineering. Throughout his career, he has published 276 articles in scientific journals, 11 books, and 38 book chapters, in addition to over 550 papers in conference proceedings and technical journals, as well as participating in numerous scientific events in Brazil and abroad.With extensive experience in mentoring new researchers, he has supervised 21 doctoral theses, 31 master's dissertations, and 160 undergraduate research and final-year projects in Agricultural Engineering and Agronomy. He also serves as an ad hoc reviewer for several scientific journals.His research focuses on Agricultural Engineering, with an emphasis on Agricultural Machinery and Mechanization, Digital Agriculture, and Precision Agriculture. He develops studies on mechanized harvesting systems for crops such as coffee, sugarcane, peanuts, and cereals, as well as quality control in mechanized agricultural operations. He is one of the pioneers in research on mechanized peanut harvesting in Brazil. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
