Associate Professor of the Institute of International Relations of the University of São Paulo, Brazil (IRI-USP) and Head of IRI-USP's Undergraduate and Library Comissions. He holds a PhD in Economic History from the University of São Paulo. He was a Visiting Scholar at the Institute for the Study of the Americas at the University of London (2010-2011), at the Watson Institute of International and Public Affairs at Brown University (2017) and at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University (2018). He works on the History of International Relations, focusing on US-Brazilian relations during the Cold War, and on American Studies, particularly US political institutions and US foreign policy.
