He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from FEJUDESC (1987). Master's degree (1996) and PhD (2000) in Electrical Engineering at UNICAMP. He works at the IT Technology Center Renato Archer - CTI as a researcher since 1988. He served as head of the Hardware Systems Design Division for more than 15 years. Worked as coordinator of the DH CTI / CNPq Project under the CI Brazil Program from 2006 to 2010. He has acted as coordinator of projects with financing from FINEP, BNDES, CNPq and other development contracts with resources from the Information Technology Law since 1993. He worked as a guest researcher at UNICAMP until 2015, carrying out activities at FEEC / DSIF in the Laboratory of Microelectronic Sensors, in research activities mainly related to the study and development of sensors, among them radiant sensors, especially photodiodes for applications in the region of the spectrum Visible and Infrared. He is currently coordinator of the CITAR / FINEP Project, which consists of the development of Integrated Radiation Tolerant Circuit Projects for medical and spatial applications. He has also carried out research in the area of ​​Generation and Conversion Systems of Thermal Energy for Mechanical and Electrical destined to sustainable sources especially solar and other clean and renewable thermal sources. Has collaborated with the development of Hybrid Thermodynamic System, the concept of thermal motors of differential cycles and the concept of thermal motors of binary cycles, both motors based on the hybrid thermodynamic system.
