Jefferson Bettini is a researcher at Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM) at Brazilian Nanotechnology National Laboratory (LNNano). He obtained his degree in Physics at Univ. Estadual de Londrina, finished his Ph.D. at Univ. Estadual de Campinas and a post-doc at Oxford University (England). He joined at Brazilian National Synchrotron Laboratory in 2001 as Physicist in Electron Microscopy Laboratory. Brazilian Nanotechnology National Laboratory was created in 2011 as part of, Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials, and since 2012, he is the coordinator of Electron Microscopy Laboratory. He works on nano-characterization mainly using high spatial resolution techniques associated with electron microscopy. He has published more than 90 research journal papers, someones in high impact journals (Nature NANO, Science, Nano Lett., Phys. Rev. Lett., etc.). He collaborated to establish the cryo-electron microscopy group at Brazilian Nanotechnology National Laboratory. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
