The Associate Professor at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) working in the Department of Nursing and Graduate Program in Nursing (master's and doctorate); leader of the research group Mental Health in the context of the Psychiatric Reform registered in the CNPq research group directory. Member of the Board of the Scientific Department of Psychiatric Nursing and Mental Health - DEPSM of the Brazilian Nursing Association (ABEn) - SP Section (Management: 2016-2019). Experience in Nursing, working mainly on the following topics: Mental Health Nursing, Psychiatric Reform, Use / Abuse and Dependence on Alcohol and Other Drugs, Dependence on Psychoactive Substances and Family, Hope and Family Resilience.
