Cátia Regina Branco da Fonseca holds a medical degree from the Botucatu School of Medicine of Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP (1995), with a Medical Residency in Pediatrics and Social Pediatrics at the same institution (1996-1999). He has a Specialist Degree in Pediatrics, by the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics (1997), specialization in Activation of the Process of Change of Higher Education by the National School of Public Health Sérgio Arouca, ENSP / FIOCRUZ. Master in Pediatrics, State University of São Paulo Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP. PhD in Sciences applied to Pediatrics by the Federal University of São Paulo - Paulista School of Medicine - Department of Pediatrics. He worked as a pediatric HCFMB doctor at the Department of Pediatrics and in the Pediatric Emergency Department, teaching, research, assistance and university extension activities. Served as tutor in the Discipline Interaction university-service and community of FMB de Botucatu (2007-11). It guides students of Medicine, Nutrition and Nursing courses in scientific initiation (FAPESP and CNPq) and in extension and teaching projects in partnership with the Municipal Health and Education Departments of Botucatu. Research Lines: Integral Attention to the Health of Children and Adolescents; Evaluation of Child Health Services and Programs. She is currently an Assistant Professor of the Department of Pediatrics at Botucatu UNESP, in the discipline of Social and Community Pediatrics and Genetic Pediatrics. She works as a preceptor in the Medical Residency Program in Pediatrics, coordinator of the Social and Community Pediatrics Program, deputy coordinator of the Medical Residency Council of FMB, a member of the Central University of UNESP (CEPE and COREME-UNESP) (Medicine - MEPAREM; Clinical Research).
