FAPESP researcher and Professor of the Bachelor's Degree and Postgraduate Program in Public Policy Management at EACH-USP. Postdoc at the Department of Public Administration at UNESP in Araraquara and postdoc at the Department of Government at the University of Texas at Austin-USA, under the supervision of Bryan Jones (both with a FAPESP Scholarship). PhD in Political Science from the Federal University of São Carlos (FAPESP scholarship) with an International internship at North Carolina State University (NCSU-USA). He also holds a Master's degree in Political Science from UFSCar and a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy Management from USP. Coordinates the Brazilian Policy Agendas Project, a member of the CAP-Comparative Agendas Project. He was one of the founders and editor-in-chief of the Revista Agenda Política (UFSCar) and currently serves as deputy editor at the Revista Cadernos de Gestão Pública e Cidadania (FGV). He works with theory and models of Public Policy analysis, working mainly on the following topics: agenda-setting; public policy formulation, policy dynamics, policy change and models of policy analysis.
