I am currently a postdoctoral fellow funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) (Process number 2021/04124-2) at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), Baixada Santista Campus. In 2023, I completed a one-year postdoctoral fellowship at Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, funded by FAPESP (Process number 2022/12556-2).I obtained my PhD and Master's degrees from São Paulo State University (UNESP), Botucatu Campus, and I graduated from UNESP, Litoral Paulista Campus. During my Master's, I completed an internship at Bangor University, Wales, UK, and during my PhD, at the Swire Institute, Hong Kong University.My current research focuses on the effect of temperature increase due to climate change on mangrove productivity. I have experience primarily in research on the impact of climate change on marine organisms, working in the areas of physiology, ecology, and animal behavior. My main areas of expertise include: climate change, thermal limits, thermal niches, metabolism, invertebrate biology, distribution, activity period of coastal organisms, predator-prey recognition, and animal preference.
