Graduated in Chemistry at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCAR), master in Chemistry at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and Ph.D. in Chemistry at UNICAMP. Associate professor at the State University of São Paulo (UNESP) works mainly on advanced oxidation processes for the treatment of wastewaters such as photo-Fenton process in homogeneous and heterogeneous medium under solar and artificial irradiation. Also works in the field of atmospheric chemistry in the evaluation of biogenic carbon emissions through determination of organic species in rainwater. Included in the list of the researchers with the highest impact of citations, in 2019 and within the top scientists of her main subfield discipline, published in an article in the journal Plos Biology (https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pbio.3000918).
