He holds a postdoctoral degree from the University of São Paulo (2014) and the University of Toronto (2020). He is currently 2nd adjunct professor at the Federal University of Maranhão. He is a permanent member and vice-coordinator of the graduate program in Chemistry (master's level) at the Federal University of Maranhão, working mainly on the following topics: chemical sensors, fia, chemically modified electrodes, trace analysis, water pollution.
