Is graduated in Biological Sciences at Mackenzie University. He is currently Full Professor and Researcher of the Environmental and Experimental Pathology Program, Paulista University. He is leader of the CNPq research group: Experimental and Environmental Neuropsychopharmacology. Is member of the Committee on Ethics in the Use of Animals (CEUA-UNIP). His PhD Thesis awarded the 'CAPES Thesis Award', best thesis in veterinary medicine area, and the 'Thesis Award Featured USP', best thesis in the area of Agricultural Sciences.
