Ph.D. in Physics from the Universities of Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Bordeaux 1 (France, 2011), with a thesis on the structure and dynamics of DNA intercaled in non-cationic lamellar phases. During the doctoral internship, was fellow of the Programme de Bourses d'Excellence Eiffeil-Egide. Holds a M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Sao Paulo (2007), with enphasis on interometric optics. B.Sc. from USP (2005). Has experience on experimental condensed matter physics, using X-rays scattering tools applied to the characterization of soft materials. Post-doc fellow at the Federal University of ABC region between 2012 and 2016, when investigated peptide-based self-assemblies. Between May 2014 and May 2015, he was an academic visitor at the University of Reading, UK, under guidance of Prof. Ian William Hamley. He was an Assistant Professor at the Physics Institute of the Federal University of Alagoas in Maceio, Brazil. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor (ternure track) at the Department of Biophysics of the Federal University of Sao Paulo (São Paulo, Brazil). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
