Birthplace: Brazil

I have a bachelor's degree in Physics from UERJ (2001), a PhD in Physics from UNICAMP (2006) and a post-doctorate at UNICAMP (2006-2008) and UERJ (2022 to 2024). I worked as a researcher at INMETRO (2008 to 2012) and led the Laboratory of Magnetism (2009 to 2012). I worked as a researcher at the Institute of Science and Technology of UNIFESP (2012 to 2014), coordinating a project funded by FAPESP. I worked as a researcher at CNPEM (2014 a 2019), leading the XRD1 beamline (dedicated to X-ray diffraction) and the i-Caloric Materials Lab (funded by FAPESP). I worked as Associate Visiting Professor I at the Department of Chemical Engineering at UNIFESP (2020 to 2022). Currently, I am an Assistant Professor at the Physics Institute at UERJ and an Affiliated Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering at UNIFESP. I am a permanent professor at the Graduate Program in Physics at UERJ, at the Graduate Program in Engineering and Materials Science at UNIFESP, and at the Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering at UEM. I have experience in the areas of Condensed Matter Physics and Materials Engineering, with emphasis on the study of i-caloric materials and devices. I have published more than 80 articles in international journals, with a total of more than 1800 citations. I have 9 patents filed. CNPq Research Productivity Fellowship from 2009 to 2021 (area of Condensed Matter Physics), and from 2023 onwards (area of Physical Metallurgy). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
