Researcher at the Van Andel Institute, MI-USA, working in the field of neuroscience with a focus on cell reprogramming and cell differentiation into neurons. She was a post-doctoral student at the University of São Paulo with a study on the generation of induced pluripotent cells (iPSCs) and primordial germ cells. She participated in the Internship Research Abroad Program (BEPE), working for one year under Professor Dr. W. Allan King's supervision at the University of Guelph, Guelph-ON, Canada. Ph.D. at the University of São Paulo - USP - in the postgraduate program of the Anatomy of Domestic and Wild Animals at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science (FMVZ), in the field of germ cells and epigenetic modifications, under Professor Dr. Daniele dos Santos Martins's supervision. She participated in the Research Internship Abroad (BEPE) program, working for ten months under the direction of Professor Dr. Susana Chuva Sousa Lopes at Leiden University Medical Centrum, Leiden-Netherlands.
