Graduated in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos, University of São Paulo (IQSC-USP). Holds a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of São Paulo (EESC-USP) and a Ph.D. in Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry from the University of São Paulo (IQSC-USP). Conducted a one-year research internship at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (USA), developing nanostructured aerogels for photocatalytic applications.Completed postdoctoral research with a FAPESP fellowship at the Institute of Chemistry, UNESP-Araraquara, from 2018 to 2022. Served as an Adjunct Professor (Inorganic Chemistry) in the Department of Chemistry at the Federal University of Santa Catarina from 2022 to 2025.Has experience in inorganic chemistry, materials chemistry, the synthesis and characterization of functional materials, the sol-gel process, heterogeneous photocatalysis, and urban mining of metals.Currently an Assistant Professor (Inorganic and General Chemistry) at the Institute of Chemistry, São Paulo State University (UNESP). He is part of the Photonic Materials Laboratory (LAMF, IQ-UNESP Araraquara-SP), focusing on the development of hybrid aerogels for photo-assisted contaminant removal, as well as materials and sustainable strategies for the recovery of rare earth elements from urban and industrial waste.
