A visiting professor at the Federal University of ABC, Bachelor's at Electrical Engineering (2006) and Master's at Electrical Engineering (2009) from the Federal University of Maranhão, has a PhD in Electric Power Systems from the School of Engineering of São Carlos of the University of São Paulo (USP) since the end of 2013, having developed Post-Doctoral research at the same institution between 2014 and 2018.In 2016 he was a Visiting Researcher at the Department of Electrical and Computing Engineering (ECE) at Northeastern University, Boston, USA, in collaboration with EESC-USP and FAPESP. Between 2018 and 2020 he was also a Visiting Professor at the Center for Engineering, Modeling and Applied Social Sciences (CECS) at the Federal University of ABC, Campus Santo André. Between 2021 and 2022 he developed research in scientific computing at the Center for Research, Innovation and Dissemination in Neuromathematics (NeuroMat-IME-USP).He has experience in consulting and developing software for the electrical sector, such as the Volt/Var control/optimizer and state estimator.He has interests in analysis, operation and monitoring of power systems, including metaheuristic optimization, statistical learning and efficient computing.
