Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering at the Federal University of São Carlos I have a major on Metallurgy. During graduation, I had an internship at the R&D Laboratory at Engemasa Materials and Engineering, where I studied and solved low toughness issues of low alloy cryogenic temperature steels. I also developed a device to improve the thermal efficiency of petrochemical furnaces and increase their lifespan. About that theme, I have interest in heat resistant alloys. The studies on processing of ceramics by microwaves in the last few years show unique characteristics involving the usage of this kind of energy under high temperatures.
