Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (FAPESP n 2016/15743-7) in the field of Cellular and Molecular Biology, from the 'Júlio de Mesquita Filho' State University - UNESP, Rio Claro campus (2016-2021), with a sandwich period through the Foreign Research Internship Scholarship - BEPE (FAPESP n 2018/05072-3) at the University of Coimbra - Portugal (2018-2019), under the supervision of Professor Dr. José Paulo Filipe Afonso de Sousa. Master's degree in Biological Sciences (FAPESP n 2014/04697-9) in the field of Biotechnology and Environmental Monitoring, from the Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar, Sorocaba campus (2014-2016), and Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Hermínio Ometto Foundation - FHO|UNIARARAS (2010-2013). I worked as an integral member of the Laboratory of Ecotoxicology and Conservation of Bees (LECA - UNESP), Laboratory of Ecotoxicology and Environmental Integrity Analysis (LEIA - UFSCar), the Research Center on Ecotoxicology and Conservation of Bees (NuPECA - UFSCar), and the Soil Ecology and Ecotoxicology Laboratory (SEEL - UC - Portugal) - Centre for Functional Ecology (CFE - UC - Portugal). I also had experience in the field of Education, participating in projects at the Center for Social Insect Studies (CEIS) and at CEF-UC, where I used playful teaching methods to raise awareness about the importance of bees. Currently, I am conducting postdoctoral research at the University of Maribor (UM), Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences - Slovenia, in collaboration with Ghent University - Belgium. I have expertise in the areas of Ecotoxicology, with a focus on bees, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Histology, Applied Zoology, and Functional Ecology. My emphasis is on the following topics: risk assessment, effect biomarkers, biomonitoring, and conservation of honey bees and native bees. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
