Birthplace: Brazil

Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry at the Federal University of São João Del-Rei. I completed my Master's and Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of São Paulo (USP), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Claudio Miguel da Costa-Neto. My research focused on the pharmacological characterization of new ligands for G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), particularly receptors of the renin-angiotensin system. During my Ph.D., I spent a year as a visiting researcher in the laboratory of Prof. Michel Bouvier at the University of Montreal, Canada, where I developed new BRET-based biosensors to study the spatiotemporal signaling of GPCRs. I completed my postdoctoral research in the laboratory of Prof. Dr. Rita de Cassia Aleixo Tostes Passaglia at the Department of Pharmacology, FMRP/USP, where I studied the role of lipid rafts in the regulation of GPCR signal transduction. I also worked as an online tutor in the specialization course in Nutrition, Metabolism, and Exercise Physiology at FMRP/USP. Since early 2022, I have been working at the Radical Innovation Department of Eurofarma Laboratories, where I apply my expertise in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, and Physiology to contribute to the discovery and development of new pharmacological therapies.
