Has Bachelor in Biology (Sao Paulo State University, 1998), master in Molecular Biology (Campinas State University, 2002) and PhD in Plant Molecular Physiology (Potsdam University, 2008). I spent 4 years as Postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology. Since 2011, I lead the Plant Molecular Physiology group at Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials. By applying systems biology tools, we aim to elucidate the processes underlying plant growth and biomass production, focusing on metabolic regulation. In addition, I am responsible for a Metabolomics Facility, which serves researchers in South America, and Associated Professor at UNICAMP and Federal University of Viçosa.
