Graduated in Chemistry and Petroleum Chemistry at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2002), Master in Food Science at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2004) and PhD in Food Science at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2010). Currently is assistant professor at the Federal University of Latin American Integration (UNILA) in Foz do Iguaçu. Has an extensive experience in Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and Food Chemistry, with emphasis on chromatographic and spectrometric techniques. Works at two large areas, Environment and Food Chemistry, with the following themes: Adulteration and Quality of foods; aroma, bioactive compounds and changes during storage of foods; Food dye degradation in effluents. Recently, worked as a researcher at the Council for Research and Experimentation in Agriculture - Research Unit for Viticulture and Enology (Italy) with a focus on themes: table grape and wine quality, sensory evaluation of wines, quantification of bioactive compounds in table grapes and influence of different winemaking technologies in aromatic composition and product acceptance.
