Bachelor's in Pharmacy from Universidade de São Paulo (1997), master's in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2000) and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Faculdade de Ciências Farmacêuticas de Ribeirão Preto/USP (2005). She was Assistant Professor at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences from 2008 to 2013. She is currently Associate Professor at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at University of Sao Paulo. Her scientific interests are focused on nanomedicine and drug delivery.
