PhD in Archaeology from the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at the University of São Paulo (MAE/USP) and in Geosciences from Université Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier (France), with a Masters degree in Archaeology from MAE/USP and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern Santa Catarina. Currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Austrian Archaeological Institute of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (Vienna, Austria), where she is responsible for the Isotopic Geochemistry Laboratory. Her research focuses on the pre-colonial archaeology of Brazil, with an emphasis on long-term Indigenous history, using multidisciplinary approaches involving zooarchaeology, bioarchaeology, and isotopic geochemistry. She has experience in mass spectrometry (ICP-MS and MC-ICP-MS), ion chromatography, and clean lab protocols for the analysis of traditional and non-traditional isotopes applied to archaeology. She has extensive experience in archaeological excavations, curation and collection management, as well as heritage education initiatives. She is co-author of the educational game Sambaquis: A History Before Brazil, widely used in schools across the southern and southeastern regions of the country. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
