I am Doctor in Archaeology by the Universities of Córdoba, Malaga, Huelva and Pablo de Olavide (Spain), Master in Archaeology and Heritage by the Universities of Córdoba, Malaga, Huelva and Pablo de Olavide, and Bachelor in Art History by the University of Córdoba. My professional interests include all the branches of the Archaeology of the Contemporary Age, although my speciality is the Archaeology and Heritage of Industrialization. I have developed my research on these topics in a number of countries, including Spain (University of Córdoba; University Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid), the U.K. (The Ironbridge International Institute for Cultural Heritage, University of Birmingham; Centre for Historical Archaeology, University of Leicester), Germany (Deutsches Bergbau-Museum) and Brazil (São Paulo State University, UNESP), mostly trying to define industrialization as a globalization process.
