PhD in Sciences by the Pharmaceutical Sciences Program (area of ​​concentration: natural and synthetic products) of FCFRP-USP. Part of the PhD was held in Germany (9-month internship, BEPE-FAPESP # 2016/18579-3), at the Institut für Pharmazeutische Biologie und Phytochemie, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (WWU-Münster). He holds a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (concentration area: bioactive natural products). He holds a postgraduate Lato Sensu (specialization) from the Federal University of Lavras, in the course "Medicinal Plants: Management, Use and Manipulation". He graduated in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Industry) from the Federal University of Ouro Preto. During the graduation he was a scientific initiation fellow (FAPEMIG/PROBIC 2007-2009) in the laboratory of Pharmacognosy of the School of Pharmacy of Ouro Preto and carried out a 6-month internship at Laboratorio Teuto. He has scientific experience in the field of Pharmacognosy (natural products chemistry / medicinal plants), involving phytochemistry (isolation of compounds), metabolomics, liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, biological assays (enzymatic inhibition and antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activities), chemoinformatics (data bases and dereplication), chemometrics (data mining and machine learning), and Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship (QSAR).
